Swipe your finger to type.

You don’t need to tap the small five areas in each key. Just tap it anywhere in the button to type a custom text or perform a function registered in the center. Or, swipe your finger a little bit in one of four directions. It is definitely the next generation of the tablet PC keyboard that is not possible even in a physical keyboard.

Total 90 custom texts and functions in one screen.

Each key contains up to 10 custom texts and functions; 5 while without holding the Heart key plus other 5 while holding the Heart key. You can have 9 key, meaning you have total 90 custom texts and functions in one screen. It's incredible! By just using 0.8 inches above the original iPad keyboard, you get total 90 custom texts and functions!

Built-in 40 desktop-level
function keys.

Heart Writer supports 40 desktop-level shortcuts such as moving the cursor and deleting a word. Say, there is a typo, missing one 'c' letter in "arhaeology." Using the original iPad keyboard, you must tap a backspace key 8 to 10 times or move your entire hand to double tap a word for deleting only a word. You already miss your professor or lecturer's words. In Heart Writer, just tap or swipe your finger once! It's much easier than using a physical keyboard because you don't have to remember any key combination!

Heart Writer Keys

Customization.

You can create a new key and customize it with your own texts and functions. Just tap the plus '+' button in Presets to create a blank key and drag it to Edit. Now, you have two text fields; one for a text shown in a key and another for an actual text. For a long word like "California," you would use the abbreviation CA in the "Text Shown in a Key" field and write California in the "Actual Text" field. Of course, you can add any of 40 desktop-level functions to your new key.

Presets.

In presets, you can store your own keys for different uses. For example, you would store several keys with chemical elements for your chemistry class. Or, you can prepare the modern art history term keys for an art seminar. Heart Writer provides very intuitive drag-and-drop user interface. Just drag a chemical element key from Presets and drop it to switch with another key shown in a screen. It's amazing. By switching one key, you have 10 new custom texts and functions in ready to use!

International Keyboards.

You can create a key with Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and any other language supported by iPad (iOS 4.2 or higher). Yes, 40 desktop-level functions work with any language. Also, you can even use Emoji. (Heart Writer doesn't have Emoji. You should install Emoji using other apps.)

Smart Save
iTunes, Mail, Dropbox, and Google Docs.

By connecting your iPad to iTunes, you can transfer your documents from iPad to your computer. You can upload your document to either your Dropbox account or Google Docs. We call it “Smart Save.” After you upload your document, subsequent uploading will overwrite the same document; however, if a document in Dropbox is modified by other programs, Heart Writer will ask the users if they want to replace it with a current document (Dropbox). For Google Docs, Heart Writer will upload a current document as a new file since Google Docs allow multiple files with the same name. Of course, you can email the document.
Thanks, Dropbox and Google!
